Oracle Integration Cloud Team Lead

Role Overview

This position oversees the development and ongoing support of integrations built on Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) within a large, complex enterprise environment. This individual will guide a small technical team, maintain reliable data exchange between Oracle Fusion Cloud systems (ERP, SCM, Projects, Financials) and Salesforce, and lead daily troubleshooting efforts. The role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities and is critical to ensuring high-quality, scalable cloud integrations.

This will be a full-time direct hire W2 position based in the St. Paul, MN area. Target salary range is $140,000-170,000, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Ownership

  • Manage the lifecycle of dozens of cloud integrations, from initial design to deployment and monitoring.
  • Support orchestration flows, scheduled jobs, REST and SOAP interfaces, adapter-based integrations, and file movement processes.

Issue Resolution

  • Act as the lead escalation point for integration failures or performance concerns.
  • Diagnose problems using OIC monitoring tools and logs; restore functionality quickly to maintain reliable data synchronization.

Team Leadership

  • Provide coaching and technical direction to two developers experienced in OIC, PL/SQL, Python, BI Publisher, and data modeling.
  • Lead design and code reviews while reinforcing consistent development standards.

Optimization & Modernization

  • Redesign and improve existing integrations to enhance resiliency, error handling, performance, and maintainability.
  • Establish reusable frameworks and integration patterns that support business growth and quarterly updates to Oracle Fusion.

Technical Artifacts

  • Create and maintain supporting items such as PL/SQL utilities, Python scripts, BI Publisher reports, and custom data structures.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Translate business requirements into technical integration designs.
  • Partner with analysts, business users, and Salesforce or Fusion technical teams to ensure secure, compliant solutions.

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Configure dashboards, alerts, and proactive monitoring within OIC/OCI.
  • Track key performance indicators like throughput, latency, and failure rates, and recommend tuning opportunities.

Innovation & Emerging Capabilities

  • Keep up with upcoming OIC advancements, including AI-driven integration assistance and evolving event-driven features.
  • Evaluate automation options that reduce development time and improve integration stability.

Additional Duties

  • Develop and execute test plans.
  • Communicate progress to leadership and manage small to medium-sized projects.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Certifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a college degree is preferred.
  • Oracle integration- or OCI-related certifications are beneficial.
  • Experience with Salesforce integration adapters is preferred.
  • Interest or familiarity with emerging AI capabilities in Oracle tooling is a plus.

Experience & Technical Skills

  • At least 7 years of integration development experience, including 5+ years working extensively with OIC in enterprise environments.
  • Background integrating Oracle Fusion Cloud with CRM or ERP platforms such as Salesforce.
  • Strong knowledge of OIC components, API integrations, JSON/XML transformations, and fault-tolerant design patterns.
  • Proficiency in Python, PL/SQL, BI Publisher, and custom data modeling.
  • Experience using OCI for resource configuration, automation, and monitoring.
  • Minimum 5 years facilitating Agile ceremonies and managing development backlogs.
